GL: Can you give us some thoughts on Prize Fights most recent installment of Fights at The Fitz? "I tell you what, it was probably the most exciting card we've ever done with our longstanding series at Fitzgeralds. I know the fans were raving about it afterwards, and I felt going in that it would be a real special card with a lot of compeitive fights, but the show exceeded my expectations. I think Mark Davis looked great at times, but he's got some work to be done in terms of conditioning and focus. But he showed a tremendous amount of skill and hand speed, and he's built himself up a solid fan base , they love his hand speed. His opponent came to win and kept the pressure on Mark, but his speed and skill were the decidng two factors in the fight. I was very, very impressed with Chris Howard, who was making his second pro fight. He fought a very tough, Gerado Curillo from Houston, Texas and that was another highlight of the card. Chris is a tough kid from east Tennessee and he had a large following last night, where people from his town made the drive over to Tunica to suport him. I can see him becoming a crowd favorite at our Fights at The Fitz series. The main event was the best main event we ever had at Fitzgeralds."

"Charles Ellis was in with Aaron Lyons in a six round main event and it was the fight of the night. Charles Ellis had Lyons down twice in the first round. And Aaron came back and leveled charles Ellis with a left hook-right hand. Charles made it to his feet right before the ref counted him out. The crowd was on their feet at the end of the round one. In the second round Charles Ellis kind of had regained some of his composure. Halfway through the round, which I thought he was winning round two, he got leveled again with a right hand. He lied motionless for four or five seconds before he climbed up the ropes to beat the count. He survived, the rest of the round and dropped Lyons in the next round. From that point on it was a seasaw battle and Charles Ellis was able to squeak out a close decision win. What a great main event that was. We had another packed house. It was our 67th straight sellout and we couldn't have been more pleased.'

GL: Tell us what the latest is with the Peterson brothers and can we expect them to make their title runs next year?

Brian Young: "Anthony and Lamont Peterson are fighting on Zab's undercard on November 17, where Zab is fighting for the IBC junior middleweight title against Ryan Davis. Anthony and Lamont will be fighting on the undercard. Lamont will be fighting Oscar Leon. I don't have Anthony's opponents name off hand, but I'll get that to you. Rayonta Whitfield will also be defending his NABA title. We hope to get Anthony and Lamont, both are deserving of world titles. We've tried to make Malignaggi and Lamont Peterson, but Paulie and his people really don't want any part of Lamont Peterson. I don't think anybody wants any part of the Peterson's. We've tried to get them on Showtime. We've tried to get them on HBO. But Showtime is all locked up with Gary Shaw. He's the only promoter that has any dates, which I think is extremely unfair and HBO is all Golden Boy. It's very tough to get them on either one of the networks. But we're still trying to get them world title shots. Anthony is ranked #1 in the WBO for most of the past year and sooner or later somebody is going to have to give him a shot.

GL: Are there any offers being made by either of the companies you mentioned to cooperatively work with the Peterson brothers?

BY: "No. We'll do our own PPV shows if we have to. But we're not going to sell out to Golden Boy or Gary Shaw. They're not deserving of it. They haven't had anything to do with the building process of Anthony and Lamont and sooner or later, I've been in touch with HBO and they say that Anthony and Lamont are right there on the radar screen, they've told us to be patient and Anthony and Lamont will eventually get on."

GL: You obviously have high hopes for Zab Judah in 2008.

BY: "I thought Zab looked solid in his ten round effort last month on ESPN. We're expecting Zab to put on another great performance on November 17 in the Caicos Islands. If everything goes well in the Ryan Davis, we'll be moving forward to bigger and better things. Zab and Prize Fight really want Oscar De La Hoya on May 5. We know that if Zab comes in prepared, which he will, he'll knock Oscar De La Hoya out."

GL: Do you think De La Hoya would take that fight?

BY: "I doubt it. I think Oscar De La Hoya is scared of Zab Judah. Why would he want to fight somebody who could beat him? He's probably going to fight some cupcake."

GL: Zab made it clear to me that he wants to fight Cotto more than anyone else. Is that something you think is viable?

BY: "We'd love to have Cotto or De La Hoya. We had Cotto out on his feet and Cotto said that Zab Judah was his toughest fight. Zab would be better prepared in every way for his next go round with Miguel Cotto. Zab knows that he could have won the fight and should have won the fight, but the next go round with Miguel Cotto will end with Zab stopping him."

GL: As Zab's promoter would you feel more comfortable going into his next marquee fight now that he's got some stay busy wins under his belt?

BY: "Greg, that's a great point and I appreciate you making that point. That's what we're doing right now, we're going to keep him busy for the rest of the year. We had him fight on ESPN last month, he's coming right back on November 17 and then we're going to look for a big 08. Hopefully with De La Hoya or Miguel Cotto. If none of them want we'll go down the list one at a time to make sure Zab Judah gives the fans the best and biggest fights the other guys are willing to make."

GL: Is there anything you'd like to say in closing?

BY: "Man we really appreciate all of the support Boxingtalk gives us. We appreciate what Boxingtalk has done for our sport and we couldn't be any more excited about November 17 and finishing up the year on December 8 at Fitzgeralds."
