Boxingtalk salutes Tony Harrison

According to the Detroit Free Press, former WBC 154-pound champion Tony Harrison and his family organized-- and put in the work-- on a Thanksgiving food distribution that distributed several hundred Thanksgiving meals in his native Detroit. Harrison worked with the Gleaners Community Food Bank to distribute 12 large pallets of food. Boxingtalk salutes the Harrison family and looks forward to seeing him back in the ring in 2021. Boxingtalk also sends its belated condolences to the Harrison family, as the Free Press article reports that Harrison's father and trainer, Ali Salaam El, died from the coronavirus earlier this year. He was only 59 years old.
