Arely Mucino retains women's flyweight title

Arely Mucino W10 Yairineth Altuve... After ten rounds of women's flyweight boxing in Monterrey, Mexico, hometown favorite Arely Mucino retained her WBO title, defeating Venezuela's Yairineth Altuve by unanimous decision.  Mucino improved her record to 28-3-2, convincing the judges by tallies of 97-91 and 98-90 (twice).  Altuve (10-3) was knocked down twice over the ten rounds, but one of then was more likely a puch than a legitimate knockdown. Altuve mounted somewhat of a late rally, but it was too late to swing the scorecards in her favor. Next up for Mucino could be British double Olympic champion Nicola Adams. source: dazn
