Habazin and Magyar to fight in Croatia

On April 20th, the WBC world and WBA interim welterweight title will be disputed in the city of Zagreb, Croatia, between Ivana Habazin and Kinga Magyar.  The local boxer, Habazin (22-5), is the WBA mandatory challenger. From Hungary, the 28 year-old Magyar has a career record of 14-4 but has won thriteen straight after a rough 1-4 start to her career.  The experienced 34 year-old Habazin has moved about in weight during her career, shifting between welterweight, junior middleweight and middleweight since her professional debut on June 25, 2010. She has been IBF champion at welterweight but lost that title to future Hall of Famer Cecilia Braekhus. In addition, Habazin has shared the ring with Mikaela Lauren, Claressa Shields and Terri Harper.
